Registered user: As a registered user, you can use all of New EarthExplorer's features, including the ability to save your search criteria and results and to save specific parameters you wish to apply to orders. Address information provided during the registration process is used when you place an order, eliminating the need for you to enter this information during order processing. If you plan on using New EarthExplorer frequently, you will probably want to register.

How To Register:
To register, you must be on the New EarthExplorer login page. You can get to the login page by clicking on the login button at the top of the page. On the login page, click on "Register here." This passes you to a registration page where you will be asked to enter in your name and contact information, and a username and password of your choice. As soon as you've completed the registration process, you can use your user name and password to sign on as a registered user.

Note: The User Name and Password prompts are case sensitive, so please enter them exactly as you typed them when you registered.

As of October 11, 2007, registration will be required to order and download data through New EarthExplorer.

The benefits of being a registered user include:

1. Your user profile is saved with no need to enter your name and address every time you use this site (This information will remain confidential).
2. You can set ordering defaults.
3. You can set up standing requests.
4. You can save search results and search criteria.
   • You can send the saved criteria and results to another registered user.
5. You can track placed orders.
6. Your registration also applies to the GloVis and CIDR tool Web sites.
